Georgia Quail Invitational Financial Results

The first two Georgia Quail Invitational were a resounding success! Hunters, sponsors and guest enjoyed an action-filled weekends where the Southwest Georgia Chapter of Quail Forever raised the funds to contribute $100,500 to deserving organizations!.

In the interest of transparency, the complete financials for the event may be seen at the bottom of this page.

Each GQI weekend begins on Thursday night with an opportunity for hunters and sponsors to renew old friendships and make new ones at a reception at the Shackelford House!

On Friday mornings, after a hearty breakfast at the Event Center at Merry Acres, hunters departed for their assigned plantations for a fantastic day of quail hunting as can only be experienced in Southwest Georgia! After returning from a full day of hunting, everyone gathered for a buffet dinner and auction to benefit the projects that we support. Our generous supporters donated items that ranged from birdhouses to African Safaris.

The weekend came to a close on Saturday with another day filled with great hunting followed by a dinner, live entertainment and a silent auction.

Our sponsors and supports have be incredibaly supportive in both 2015 and 2016. At the bottom of this page is a list of the organizations that we have been able to support because of your generosity!

Thank You!
