Event Schedule

The Georgia Quail Invitational will be an action packed event.

For hunters, you will have two days of quail hunting that can only be experienced in "The Quail Hunting Capital" of the nation. While hunting on some of the finest quail hunting properties in the world, you will get to enjoy a traditional quail hunting experience like no other!

Non hunters will enjoy two days of great food, fellowship and entertainment.

Thursday, January 26th, 2023

3:00 pm - Hunters and Sponsors arrive at Merry Acres Inn & Event Center for registration and check in.*
6:30pm - Reception at the Shackelford House, Heavy Hors d’oeuvres and Host Bar for Hunters and Sponsors – transportation provided

Friday, January 27th, 2023

7:00am - Breakfast in Event Center at Merry Acres(Hunters Only)
8:00am - Hunters depart for assigned plantations and farms – transportation provided
5:00pm - Hunters return
6:30pm - Merry Acres: Host bar with complimentary beer, heavy hors d’oeuvres, Entertainment by Evan Barber

Saturday January 28th, 2023

7:00am - Breakfast in Event Center at Merry Acres(Hunters Only)
8:00am - Hunters depart for assigned plantations  and farms – transportation provided
5:00pm - Hunters return
6:30pm - Merry Acres Ballroom: Host Bar, Dinner and Live and Silent Auctions

**If flying into Albany and your flight arrives earlier, arrangements will be made to accommodate you. If transportation is needed to    Merry Acres Inn & Event Center, shuttle is available.
